Geely, in collaboration with Solvay PPA plastics, enables metal replacement for exterior/cooling components.

Replacing metal exterior functional parts and motor cooling housings with glass fiber reinforced PPA material reduces the weight of a single part by 47% and the overall cost by 36%. It is resistant to high temperature and fluid corrosion, and is suitable for integrated injection molding. It is widely used in the front face and chassis exterior guard plate of Geely series new energy vehicles.
